Punjabi Virsa returns to the Edmonton EXPO Centre Arena on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 7 p.m., featuring the acclaimed Waris brothers — Manmohan Waris, Kamal Heer, and Sangtar — live on stage.
A long-running concert series that began in 2004, Punjabi Virsa has become known worldwide for showcasing Punjabi music and culture through a mix of traditional folk and contemporary sounds. Each edition brings together the unique strengths of the three brothers, whose combined artistry has helped shape the signature Punjabi Virsa experience.
Manmohan Waris is known for his expressive vocals and storytelling through Punjabi folk songs. Kamal Heer brings a dynamic blend of folk and classical influences, delivered with high-energy performances. Sangtar, the musical backbone of the trio, is recognized for his composition, poetic lyrics, and arrangement that bring the show together.
