Meet your emergency responders at Get Ready in the Park!
Hosted by the City of Edmonton’s Office of Emergency Management in recognition of Emergency Preparedness Week, the 16th Annual Get Ready in the Park returns on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Local emergency responders, along with almost 50 groups from the region’s emergency response community, will be on site to meet Edmontonians, discuss emergency preparedness, and showcase their work.

Get Ready in the Park is a free, informative and interactive event that is fun for the whole family. Meet and talk with emergency responders from the Edmonton and metro region, learn how to prepare for a variety of emergencies, discover how emergency responders work together on the frontlines during and after an emergency, and explore the inside of a fire truck and other emergency vehicles.
