Bring the whole family to Farmfair for hands-on fun, adorable animals, and exciting live demonstrations! There’s something for kids of all ages to discover at this FREE event.

Ag Education Zone

Thursday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Get hands-on with agriculture through 20+ interactive activities that connect visitors to where their food comes from and the people who grow it.

Petting Zoo

Thursday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Meet the adorable residents of the Alberta Petting Zoo, from pot-bellied pigs and donkeys to alpacas, miniature ponies, goats, and sheep. Kids can get up close, pet the animals, and enjoy some one-on-one time with their new furry friends.

Canine Events

Friday–Sunday at 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.
No 5:30 p.m. show on Sunday.

Get ready for some serious canine talent! Watch Ned’s Wish retired military and police dogs show off their skills, then cheer on the adorable wiener dogs as they race to the finish. You’ll also see incredible scent-hurdling and agility dogs tackle challenging courses with speed, focus, and plenty of enthusiasm.

Cuddle a Calf

Friday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. and 3–5 p.m. | November 6–8

The mini calves are always a Farmfair favourite! Stop by during designated times for a chance to get up close, cuddle these gentle animals, and make a memorable farm connection.

Rabbit Show

Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

It’s a cattle show—with a whole lot more fluff! Meet some of the best rabbits around as more than a dozen breeds compete for top honours, with international judges evaluating the entries. It’s a fun and unique look at the world of rabbit showing!
