Be a part of the first ever edition of the Edmonton EXPO Centre’s Winery Spotlight Dinner Series!
Join us on March 27 for an exclusive evening featuring a seven-course dinner crafted by Executive Chef Jiju Paul and the Edmonton EXPO Centre culinary team paired with premier wines from our first featured winery, Kettle Valley Winery!
Wine representative Tara Smith from Lanigan Edwards will explain how Kettle Valley Winery came to life in the beautiful Okanagan region and guide you through the tasting notes of five specially selected wines, while Executive Chef Jiju Paul will teach you about the sumptuous dishes served on your plate. The evening takes place in the Ballroom Foyer of the Edmonton EXPO Centre in a long-table setting with a maximum of 60 guests – perfect for mingling and sharing a culinary experience with new friends.
We’re proud to be featuring a Canadian winery for our first Winery Spotlight Dinner. Kettle Valley Winery is a small farm-based winery located on the Naramata Bench, Okanagan, BC. Their focus is quality and by staying a small family owned and operated winery they believe that their passion will show through in their wines. Kettle Valley Winery is known for its dark, intense and well-structured red wines, including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and blends such as “Old Main Red”. Chardonnay has been the main white wine produced, but in recent years Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc have also proved popular. They are all flavourful and aromatic, with a rich mouth feel.
