Tommasi Winemaker’s Dinner

A luxurious dinner, perfectly paired wines and an unforgettable evening. Join us for the Tommasi Winemaker’s Dinner on March 3!
 
Guests will enjoy an evening featuring five sumptuous dishes crafted by Executive Chef Jiju Paul and the Edmonton EXPO Centre culinary team paired with premier Italian wines presented by International Cellars.
 
International Cellars representative Anita Jarmolicz and sommelier Rosanne Winter-Repchuck will guide you through the tasting notes of the Tommasi Family Estates wines, while Executive Chef Jiju Paul will teach you about the dishes served on your plate. Learn more about food and wine and expect to be surprised! Whether its with a dish you’ve never tried, a presentation style you’ve never seen before or a wine flavour that changes your perspective, you’ll have an experience like no other.
 
25% of the revenue from this event will be donated to the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts.

Standard Ticket – $85
Group Ticket – $75 Groups of 6 or more who purchase together receive $10 off per ticket. Please note that tables will seat groups of 8.

Update: Pierangelo Tommasi will no longer be able to travel to Edmonton for the event due to travel restrictions caused by the recent concerns of coronavirus in Italy. International Cellars representative Anita Jarmolicz and sommelier Rosanne Winter-Repchuck will now be presenting the evening’s wine pairings. Please see more information about them below. 
 
 

More about Anita Jarmolicz

Born and raised in Edmonton, Anita began her career in the wine business in the year 2000. Working with International Cellars’ vast wine portfolio, Anita initially learned on the fly about wines and wine regions. Over the years she graduated from two International Sommelier Guild courses and then added a French Wine Scholar program to her portfolio.

She has been the wine ambassador for numerous wine dinners, wine clubs and events from golf courses to NAIT. Anita has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the World both on winery visits and personal trips.Turning an interest in wine into a passion and a career in wine has been a bonus that will last a lifetime.

 

More about Rosanne Winter-Repchuk

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Rosanne moved to Edmonton in 1986. Just one year later, Rosanne joined the ranks of the Alberta Liquor Control Board in the Permit Office and then just over a year later moved to the ALCB Head Office in St. Albert.  She joined the Tasting Panel at the ALCB and, guided by her learned and patient manager, her love of wine grew into a passion.  In 2001 Rosanne started her company Straight Up Marketing, which delved into the fun side of the wine and spirits industry.

Rosanne graduated from the Sommelier Diploma Program of the International Sommelier Guild, and she has traveled to various regions of Italy, Portugal, Spain, France and Canada (Okanagan) and visited copious wineries throughout many regions in these countries. She loves to educate people about wines and spirits, whether through private/corporate events, liquor store/restaurant tastings or formal education. Turning a passion into a career truly is a dream for her and she feels very fortunate to have done so.
