Event Security Supervisor

Job Details

As a vital member of the security team you will be providing general venue security to mitigate and prevent any real or potential security and safety risks to our facilities, clients, guests and staff during events.  Your main duties will be monitoring and providing leadership and support to the event security guards and alcohol service monitors during events held at Edmonton Expo Centre


The successful candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid SSIA License, ProServe and ProTect certification
  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a service related industry
  • Ability to:
    • Remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, customer service environment, while handling stressful situations
    • Problem solve and make rational decisions
    • Stand for extended periods of time and transport material up to 22.5 KG
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
